Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The crystal clear turquoise
waters of Lake Michigan set against the dune formations create an
extraordinary view. Bluffs, beaches, sand dunes, & lighthouses along the
Lake Michigan shoreline will delight viewers of all ages. During the
tour, our captain will tell you about the history and geology of the
shoreline, along with some legend and lore of the area. Your journey
begins in Frankfort located in Michigan's beautiful Benzie County!

Take in the sights of Frankfort Harbor Lighthouse and Point Betsie Lighthouse. Along the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore you might spot wildlife such as American bald eagles, black bear, white tail deer, and the ever-elusive cougar. Binoculars could be useful if searching for animals along the shoreline. Sunsets on Lake Michigan can be beautiful and inspirational, not to mention, a great way to create a romantic evening.
